2008 (Sophomore): Made six appearances, going 0-1...Pitched a total of 9.0 innings...Struck out seven in nine innings pitched. 2007 (Freshman): Tops among freshmen and fourth overall on the staff with a 3.74 ERA...Made 11 relief appearances in addition to a pair of starts...Struck out 22 batters in 33.2 innings of work...Fanned a career-high six in his first outing of the season, in 2.2 innings against Brevard...Two wins came out of the bullpen against Anderson and Newberry...Started the 2007 PBC Tournament Championship game against #25 Armstrong Atlantic State, tossing a gutty 5.2 innings, allowing just two earned runs.

Batesburg-Leesville High School: Registered six wins and a 2.28 ERA as a senior in 2005...Earned All-Region honors and was a participant in the North-South All-Star game...Received the team’s Defensive Most Valuable Player award...Recorded 80 strikeouts and tossed one no-hitter...Selected as an “Athlete of the Week” by The State...Helped lead Batesburg-Leesville to the 2004 South Carolina AA Upper State Champion as a junior... Pitched in the 2004 State Championship game.
