2004 (Junior): After redshirting in 2003, Claussen posted a 5-5 record with a 4.57 ERA in 65.0 innings for the Pacers last year...As a weekend starter, his five wins tied Nick Wandless for most on the team while his 14 starts was second...Tossed 6.0 innings of four-hit, shutout baseball on Feb. 28 versus Catawba striking out a career-high five in notching his first win...Pitched a gem on April 24 in an upset of #2 North Florida going 7.0 innings, scattering nine hits and two runs while fanning four in the win.

Joliet JC: Twice named All-Conference and All-Region...Posted a 5-2 mark with 52 strikeouts and a 3.54 ERA in 50.1 innings as a sophomore...Was 7-2 with a 3.40 ERA as a freshman.

Providence Catholic High School: Senior season was shorted due to a knee injury, but still served as the team’s captain...Posted an undefeated record as a sophomore.
