2000 (Junior): Led the team in doubles (16) and home runs (12)…His 0.23 home runs per game ranked fourth best in the Peach Belt Conference…Finished second on the squad in runs batted in (45), total bases (108), and slugging percentage (.527)…Began season as designated hitter but moved behind the plate after Todd Fox went down with a back injury…Saw some time at first base as well.

Volunteer State Community College: Batted .377 with nine home runs and 52 runs batted in as a sophomore…Earned All-Western Division, All-State and All-Region VII honors as a catcher…Named All-Western Division and All-State as a designated hitter his freshman year after hitting .345 with eight home runs and 45 runs batted in.

High School: Posted a .455 average with four home runs and 20 runs batted in as a senior…Member of three-straight American Legion State Championship Teams (1996-98).
