1998: Batted .318 with eight doubles and five homeruns after transferring to USCA as a junior… Was a single short of hitting for the cycle vs. Presbyterian as he went 3-7, with two runs, RBI, double, triple and a homerun… Posted three games with three or more hits… Went 3-5 with two RBI, and a homerun vs. Catawba… Missed the final eight games of the season with a dislocated ankle… Hit safely in nine of his last 12 games played… In four games vs. Carson-Newman he went 5-11 with seven runs, two RBI, three walks and a homerun… In two games vs. Mount Olive he went 3-7, three runs, two RBI a double and homerun.
 
Odessa College:  Hit .305 his freshman year and .375 with four homeruns and 40 RBI’s his sophomore year.. Selected as all-Conference his sophomore year… Team won 1997 Conference Championship.
 
Austin Anderson: Batted .360 his senior year… Named all-District his junior and senior years.
 
Perosnal: Damon Andrew Beaird was born on September 6, 1975… Son of Rick and Carolyn Beaird…. Majoring in Math/Computer Science.
