2008 (Junior): Ended first season in a Pacer uniform batting .328…Started all 64 USC Aiken games…His position in the batting lineup never changed as he was the Pacers leadoff hitter in all 64 games…Was second on the team in at-bats with 262…Finished second in the Peach Belt Conference with 30 stolen bases…McMorris’ 30 stolen bases were a team-high…His top two performances in stolen bases in the league were one of five categories in which he was in the top 10 in the league… McMorris was also third in the league in runs scored (74), fourth in the league in triples (four), eighth in hits (86) and ninth in RBIs (57)…McMorris’ four triples and 74 runs scored were second best among all Pacers in 2008…McMorris finished the year with 31 multiple hit contests…Only PBC Player of the Year Chad Jacobsen (37) had more multi-hit games.

Southern Union State CC: Posted a .330 batting average last year as a sophomore for the Wadley, Ala. junior college...Was successful on 30 of 31 stolen base attempts... Voted the team’s Defensive Most Valuable Player.

Cherokee High School: Named the Warriors’ Offensive Most Valuable Player as a senior in 2005...Received All-County and All-Region recognition...Batted .380 while swiping 30 stolen bases...Committed just one error in earning a spot on the Gold Glove team.
