Jason Richman is in his third year as an assistant baseball coach at USC Aiken.

He helped the program to a 32-22 ledger in 2023, which is an 11-win improvement from 2022. He helped the team reach the PBC Tournament Semifinals after earning the No. 3 seed during the regular season. The Pacers went 20-10 in PBC play, helping the squad record four all-conference selections in Jacob Fletcher, Jackson Hannon, Joseph Mozingo and Dylan Wilhelm. The Pacers upended No. 4 Columbus State two out of the three games they played during the season. In 2022, he coached all-region honoree Joel Haney. 

Richman arrived at USC Aiken after serving as a coach on the Georgia Southern staff from 2019-2021. There, he worked with the pitching coach and served as the bullpen coach on gamedays. 

During his first year with the Pacers, he coached NCBWA Pitcher of the Week Joel Haney.

Richman also handled the budget, booked hotels, planned meals, managed nutrition, planned team events and coordinated transportation.

Richman played for Georgia Southern. In 2014, he was tabbed the Southern Conference Tournament Most Outstanding Player. That same year, he was the Tom Walter/Pete Frates College Baseball Inspiration Award Winner. Richman also led the NCAA in appearances with 47 in 60 games.

In 2015, he picked up NCAA Pitcher of the Week accolades. After the season, Richman was an 18th-round draft pick from the Texas Rangers. He worked his way up to AAA with the Rangers and Dodgers.

Richman has worked with five players who have been drafted or signed professional contracts, including Seth Shuman, Joe Nahas, Nick Jones, Jordan Jackson and Jon Edwards.
