(Freshman): Posted a combined 0.00 ERA in four of his six outings... On March 27, made his first appearance of the year against Anderson, tossing 2.0 innings of four-hit baseball, striking out a career-best three while not walking a batter...Worked a perfect inning of relief against Pfeiffer on April 25, striking out two... Made late season appearances against #29 Armstrong Atlantic State and against #5 Georgia College & State University in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.

Curtis Baptist High School: Did not play as a senior, or as a sophomore...In his one season as a junior in 2004, posted a 5-1 record with 32 strikeouts in earning All-Region honors...Tossed a perfect game against Westminster...Four-year post player for the basketball team, earning All-Area, All-Region, and All-State acclaim in 2005...Served as class president from 2002-05.
