Biography

Played basketball and baseball at Irmo High School… baseball coach was Strother Sligh… twice named to all-region team… also earned all-state and all-area honors as senior… attended Anderson College and played baseball under Bobby Reville… was selected to all-region team two years… led team in home runs, batting average, slugging percentage and extra base hits both years… hit .310 in first year with Pacers… had 5 HR’s and 32 RBI… his 14 doubles were second-best on the USCA squad last year… had homer and 3 RBI vs. Western Carolina… had 7 games with 2 or more RBI… had 14 multi-hit games… knocked in game-winning run 7 times in 1991 – best on the USCA team.
