2000 (Junior): Started 50 of 53 games played for the Pacers, all coming at second base…After starting the season in a hitting slump, Martin finished strong posting a .284 batting average, sixth-best on the team…Led the team in triples (2), finished second in walks (42) and stolen bases (9), and third in hits (60)…His 12 doubles was fifth-best on the squad.

Volunteer State Community College: Named to the TJCAA all-conference and all-region teams while batting .372 with five home runs, 15 doubles, and 46 runs batted in as a sophomore…Batted .385 with four home runs in his freshman season.

Gallatin High School: Named Second-Team All-State, All-Tennessee Mid-State, All-District Most Valuable Player, and received golden glove honors his senior year…Earned All-Conference, All-District, and golden glove award his junior year.
