2006-07 (JUNIOR SEASON): Played in 12 of the team’s 13 tournaments...Fifth on the team in stroke average at 76.59... Tied for third with three top 10 finishes... In the squad’s final event of the fall, Thompson opened the Tillinghast with a season-best round of 70, en route to placing eighth as USCA won the team title...Best finish of the season came at the Presbyterian Intercollegiate on February 19-20, with rounds of 77 and 72, placing sixth...Also tied for eighth at the Richard Rendleman Invitational on March 5-6.

2005-06 (SOPHOMORE SEASON): Thompson was one of the five golfers playing that helped USC Aiken defend its Peach Belt Conference and NCAA Southeast Region Championships... Sixth on the team in stroke average at 77.57...Played in 10 of 13 events...Best finish was a tie for 12th coming at the 13th Presbyterian Intercollegiate...Played well in the postseason, placing 22nd at the PBC Championship and tied for 25th at the NCAA Southeast Regional.

2004-05 (FRESHMAN SEASON): After redshirting in 2003-04 for USC Aiken, made a huge impact in his first year of competition playing in 11 of 13 tournaments...Solidified himself as the Pacers’ number four golfer...Fourth on the team in stroke average at 75.03 with five top 20 finishes including two inside the top 10...Named to the prestigious five-member NCAA All-Freshmen squad...Best finish came at the Eighth Annual Palmetto Intercollegiate where he tied for eighth... A six-over-par 219 helped the Pacers to share the title with Houston...Other top 10 finish came at the 2005 Peach Belt Conference Championship where he placed ninth...Tied for 46th at the NCAA Championship as USC Aiken won their second straight crown.

NORTH AUGUSTA HIGH SCHOOL: Named All-Region and All-State in his senior season... Posted a 73.0 stroke average...As a junior, earned All-Region accolades with a 74.0 scoring average...Had a 76.0 stroke average as a sophomore.
