Biography

2004-05 (FRESHMAN SEASON): Started four of 28 games played....Second among freshmen in scoring at 4.6 points per game...Added 1.9 rebounds per contest... Four of his five double figure scoring games came when it matters most, versus conference opponents...Third on the team in both three pointers made and in three point field goal percentage connecting on 22-of-64 from downtown for 34.4 percent... Poured in a career-high 18 points on 5-of-12 from the field including 2-of-4 from deep and 6-of-6 at the stripe on Feb. 26 at Lander...Scored 13 versus Augusta State the game before on Feb. 23...Drained a season-best 4-of-7 from downtown on Jan. 15 at Columbus State totaling 14 points... Led the team in free throw percentage drilling 33-of-38 attempts, would have been good enough for second best in the PBC if he would have had enough attempts.

LOYOLA COLLEGE (MD): Transferred to USC Aiken after redshirting during the 2003- 04 season at Loyola College of Maryland, an NCAA Division I institution...Appeared in two games before opting to redshirt.

LEXINGTON HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 16.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists his senior season for the Wildcats...Named All-Area, All-Region, and All-State...Earned team Most Valuable Player honors after his senior season... Selected as the team captain as a junior and a senior...Ended his career as the third leading scorer in school history...Holds the state record for the best career free throw percentage, 133- of-142 for 93.6 percent...Only the third player to ever win four letters at Lexington High School... Member of the Wildcats’ 2000 South Carolina AAAA State Championship team and three region championship squads...Played under head coach Bailey Harris.

PERSONAL: Kenny Gene Burr is the son of Ken and Denise Burr...He is majoring in Secondary Education.
