MORROW, Ga. – The USCA men's soccer team lost a 4-0 decision at Clayton State Wednesday evening in a PBC contest.
The Pacers are now 1-5 on the year, including 0-4 against conference foes.

Nick Sakiewicz's team opened the contest as
Daniel Dalehaug rocketed a shot on goal at the 2:07 mark, but his attempt was stopped by the keeper.
Dikola Douglas thwarted the opening shot by the home squad in the seventh minute of play.
The Lakers got on the board in the 12
th minute of action for a 1-0 lead. Clayton State managed to push the margin to 2-0 with a goal at the 40:29 mark.
USCA tried to slice the deficit in half just a minute later.
Carlos Colomer's shot on goal was saved. At the 41:40 mark,
Murilo Carli's shot sailed just high of the crossbar, leaving the score at 2-0 at intermission.
William Poirier posted a shot on goal in the 49
th minute and registered an attempt that missed high five minutes later.
The Lakers added goals in the 63
rd and 69
th minute, respectively, for a 4-0 lead.
Alvaro Corcuera had an attempt blocked and another that sailed wide of the frame. In the 78
th minute,
Ayoub Ben Amar's shot was saved as was
Emilio Roman's a minute later. Poirier added a shot on frame at the 83:25 mark while
Aloni Elfu's shot was blocked in the 86
th minute of action.
For the match, Poirier led the way with three shots, including two on goal. Corcuera had a pair of shots in the match. Ben Amar, Colomer, Dalehaug and Roman placed shots on target. Carli and Elfu tallied shots in the contest.
Douglas played all 90 minutes between the pipes and had seven saves.
USCA totaled 11 shots, including six on goal. The team earned three corner kicks in the match.
