AIKEN, S.C. – The USCA baseball team cruised to a 17-2 victory over Emory & Henry Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 5-0 on the season.
Head coach
Keith Gorman's team registered a 10-run first inning and never looked back. The squad tacked on three runs in the second, two in the third and two in the eighth.

Ryan Becker's groundout pushed across Martin for a 4-1 edge.
Joshua Johnson belted a two-RBI single to center field for a five-run cushion. Moments later, Jennings drove in two. Diaz doubled as did Martin, making it 10-1.
A balk in the second inning allowed Grigsby to trot home. He reached on a single to center field. Harding doubled home Becker for a 12-1 advantage. Two batters later, Diaz's single to right field drove in Harding for a 13-1 margin.
Up 15-2 in the eighth, Johnson scored on a sacrifice fly by
Wyatt McPherson.

Osmin Melendez for the final run of the game for USCA.
For the game, Diaz, Harding, Jennings, Johnson and Martin had two RBI apiece. Harding, Jennings, Diaz, Martin, Grigsby and Melendez notched two hits each.
On the mound,
Nick Napolitano got the start and worked five innings for the win. He had two strikeouts.
CJ Lincoln worked two frames and had four strikeouts.
Ron Robinson and
Luke Norman each tossed a scoreless frame. Norman posted two strikeouts.
Gorman's team had five extra base hits - a triple and four doubles.
