Oscar Abrahamsson won the individual title in a playoff, helping USCA finish second at the 28
th Annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate.
Clemson won the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate with a score of three-over par, 563. USCA took second at eight-over par, 568. Campbell was third after shooting 11-over par, 571.
East Carolina was fourth at 23-over par, 583. Mercer and Samford tied for fifth after posting scores of 28-over par, 588.
Abrahamsson shot two-under par, 138. He registered a six-under par, 64, on the final 18 holes of competition to force a play-off. Abrahamsson birdied No. 16, securing the individual title.
Nick Goellner recorded a 12
th-place effort. He shot five-over par, 145, for the event. Goellner shot even-par, 70, for the first round of action.
Erik Olin finished third after shooting one-under par, 139. Olin shot a stellar round of 67 Tuesday.
Karl Frisk tied for 23
rd after shooting nine-over par, 149. After shooting an opening-round 76, Frisk wrapped up the tournament by shooting three-over par, 73.
Mitchell McNeill took 33
rd after shooting 11-over par, 151. McNeill garnered a two-over par, 72, Tuesday afternoon.
The Pacers return to action March 17-18 at the Bobcat Invitational.
