AIKEN, S.C. – The USCA men's soccer team posted a 1-0 victory over Georgia Southwestern Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 4-5-4 on the year, including 1-5-2 in league play.

Blye Brickman found
Jose Rabadan 25 yards away from the goal. Rabadan collected the pass and quickly fired an attempt to the far post that touched the inside of the post before rocketing to the back of the net for the early advantage.
Rabadan nearly pushed the lead to 2-0 in the 22
nd minute, but he was turned away by the keeper.
Motiejus Samsonas also notched a shot on goal in the half, but the keeper managed to make the save.
After halftime, GSW went on the attack. However, the defense was up for the challenge.
Felipe Mattos stopped a pair of shots at point blank range in the early going.
The Hurricanes put a shot on frame in the 77
th minute and 80
th minute, but Mattos thwarted both shots.
USCA had a chance in the waning moments, but
Parks Harris' attempt sailed to the right.
For the match, USCA notched seven shots, including three on frame.
In goal, Mattos registered seven saves for the shutout.
