MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball team rattled off a 3-0 victory at Georgia College & State Tuesday evening.
The Pacers are now 11-4 overall, including 2-3 in PBC play.

Glenn Cox's team was led by
Emily Lammers' 12 kills and 11 digs for a double-double.
Lexi Rogers tallied 10 kills and six digs while
Gyöngyvér Araczki added eight kills while hitting .538.
Sadie McKay chipped in seven kills and seven digs.
Mallory Barash totaled 36 assists, eight digs and five kills in the win.
Senior
Kari Mercer moved into second place on the school's career list for digs after adding 15 to her total. She now has 2,163 digs as a Pacer.
USC Aiken trailed 12-7 in the first set before
Anna Sommer hammered home a kill. A miscue by the Bobcats and a kill from Rogers made it 12-10. Two straight errors by GCSU knotted the frame at 12-12. McKay's point gave the Pacers a one-point edge. Leading 14-13, Mercer served up back-to-back aces before Lammers registered a kill. Up 24-19, McKay finished off the frame with a thunderous kill.
The teams were tied at 11-11 in the second stanza before Araczki slammed home a kill. McKay followed it up with back-to-back points. Leading 20-17, Lammers powered home a pass from Barash. Then a bad set by the Bobcats made it 22-17. After a time-out, GCSU committed another error. However, the home team responded to knot the score at 23-23. After a time-out by Cox, Lammers and Araczki answered the call with back-to-back points for the 25-23 victory.
USC Aiken jumped out to a 7-1 lead in the third set. Rogers opened things with a kill. She dropped back to serve up an ace. A miscue by the Bobcats made it 3-0. Up 3-1, the Pacers netted four more points on two miscues by the home squad, an ace from Mercer and a point from Araczki.
Leading 12-9, Sommer posted a kill. Three straight errors by GCSU pushed the margin to 16-9. The Bobcats tied it at 18-18 before Araczki notched another kill. The squads continued to trade points until it was 24-24. A service error gave Cox's team a one-point edge before
Kaitlyn Rodriguez finished the match off with a kill.
