AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball team registered a 3-0 victory over Emmanuel Wednesday evening.
The Pacers are now 14-5 on the season.

Glenn Cox's team was led by
Gyöngyvér Araczki's 10 kills while hitting a match-best .588.
Lexi Rogers also hammered home 10 kills while
Emily Lammers nearly put up a double-double with nine kills to go along with 11 digs and four aces.
Mallory Barash posted a double-double with 36 assists and 13 digs. She chipped in six kills.
Sadie McKay tallied 10 digs, eight kills and three aces while
Alisha Pitt notched five kills.
Defensively,
Kari Mercer led everyone with 26 digs.
In the back-and-forth affair to open the match, USC Aiken took a 22-16 lead after a 5-0 spurt that culminated with a kill from Rogers. USC Aiken pushed the margin to 24-20 after a service error from the visitors. The Lions cut the deficit to one, 24-23, but McKay finished off the set with a cross-court kill and a two-point victory.
Cox's team rattled off four straight points to make it 14-10 in the second set. During the run, Lammers had a kill and was in on a block with Araczki. Araczki accounted for two kills for the four-point margin. The Lions pulled within one on several occasions, including 23-22 after a kill. However, Araczki answered the bell with a kill. She wrapped up the set with the service ace, giving the team a 25-22 win.
The third set was tied at 17-17 before McKay slammed home a kill. Pitt followed it up with a kill before Barash served up an ace, forcing a time-out. Leading 22-20, Rogers garnered a kill but the visitors responded with a kill.
Leading 24-22, McKay finished off the match with a point.
