YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball team rattled off a 73-69 win at No. 17 Young Harris Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 13-5 overall, including a 6-2 mark in league play. The Mountain Lions fall to 14-3 on the year and 5-3 against PBC teams.

Mark Vanderslice's team was led by
Tehree Horn's game-high 23 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the floor. He also snagged a game-best eight rebounds.
Tyler Johnson notched 18 points on six-of-10 shooting, including a four-of-six effort from downtown.
Jalen McCoy totaled 13 points while
Jameel Rideout dished out five assists.
Trailing 23-14,
Chedlet Delva took a pass from
Demitrios Dixon and converted the inside shot. McCoy's floater made it a 23-18 contest. With under 8:00 to play in the half, Vanderslice's team cut the margin to three, 29-26, when Horn buried a shot from distance.
Trailing 32-26, Horn answered with another shot from deep. Johnson took a pass from Rideout for a three-ball, making it 34-32 with 6:11 to go. The dyad connected with 4:57 to play, pulling the visitors within one, 36-35.
Down by two, 37-35, Horn took a pass from Johnson and knotted the game after a sensational Eurostep across the lane en route to the bucket. Rideout's jumper gave the Pacers a 39-38 lead but the nationally-ranked Mountain Lions responded with a basket. Horn's three-point bucket gave the visitors a 42-40 lead at the break.
In a back-and-forth second half, USC Aiken trailed 64-61 with under six minutes to play.
DeShawn Thomas canned a jumper and Dixon tied the game with a free throw at the 4:49 mark.
Down 67-64, Johnson found Rideout for a jumper with 3:30 to play. Almost a minute later, Horn sliced through the defense for a lay-up only to see the Mountain Lions regain the lead, 69-68, with 2:21 to play.
Neither team could score until there was less than a minute to go. With the shot clock winding down, Johnson got the ball on the wing, stepped back and drained the three-ball for a 71-69 edge with 31 seconds remaining. McCoy was fouled with 13 ticks on the clock and he calmly connected on both free throws for the four-point victory.
For the game, Vanderslice's team hit 27-of-56 from the floor (46.6 percent), including eight-of-20 from distance (40.0 percent). USC Aiken held a 36-34 advantage on the glass.
