MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball team lost a 3-0 decision at Georgia College & State University in the PBC opener for both teams.
The Pacers are now 9-3 overall and 0-1 in league play. The Bobcats improve to 4-7 overall and 1-0 against conference foes.
Set scores were 25-21, 25-21, 25-18.
Head coach
Glenn Cox's team was led by 12 kills from
Emily Lammers.
Sadie McKay and Abbie Schad notched eight kills apiece while
Anna Sommer chipped in three. Schad also posted a team-high two aces.
Caroline Foster distributed a team-best 18 assists while
Mallory Barash accounted for 12.
Lammers and Sommer each were in on a pair of blocks.
Defensively,
Kari Mercer tallied a team-high 12 digs while Foster notched eight. Lammers and McKay had seven digs apiece.
