USC Aiken Announces Men’s Basketball Schedule

AIKEN, S.C.
– The University of South Carolina Aiken, in conjunction with head men's basketball coach Mark Vanderslice, is pleased to announce the upcoming 2022-23 schedule.

The slate is highlighted by the season-opening Region Challenge and 13 regular-season home contests.

Vanderslice's squad begins the 2022-23 campaign with the Region Challenge, which is hosted by Tusculum. The Pacers take on the host Pioneers on Nov. 11 before squaring off against Lincoln Memorial a day later.

USC Aiken will play in front of the home fans for the first time on Nov. 16 against Anderson. Five days later, the team entertains Coastal Georgia.

Vanderslice's team plays at Limestone (Nov. 23) and Southern Wesleyan (Nov. 26) before returning home for a contest against Coker on Nov. 30. The squad travels to Fayetteville State on Dec. 3.

The Pacers open league play on Dec. 10 at home against Clayton State before hitting the road two days later to play at Georgia Southwestern. The team closes out the 2022 portion of the slate at Barton on Dec. 15 before a New Year's Eve match-up at home against Erskine.  

Vanderslice's team begins 2023 against Lander on Jan. 4 prior to hosting three consecutive home games. USC Aiken hosts Flagler (Jan. 7), Georgia College (Jan. 11) and Georgia Southwestern (Jan. 14) before hitting the road for games at Clayton State (Jan 18) and Young Harris (Jan. 21). 

The Pacers return home to host Augusta on Jan. 25 before closing out January at North Georgia on Jan. 28.

Vanderslice's squad begins February with home games against Columbus State (Feb. 1) and the Bearcats (Feb. 4).  

USC Aiken plays four of its final six regular-season contests away from the Convocation Center, starting with three straight road games at Georgia College (Feb. 8), at Flagler (Feb. 11) and Augusta (Feb. 15). The Pacers host Young Harris on Feb. 18 before traveling to Columbus State on Feb. 22.

Vanderslice's team closes the regular season at home against the Nighthawks on Feb. 25.

PBC Tournament play will begin on March 2.
