MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball team lost a 95-91 double-overtime contest at Mount Olive Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers fall to 7-5 on the season while the Trojans stand at 7-7.

Mark Miller's team was led by
Delaney Trushel's game-high 27 points on 10-of-11 shooting, including six-of-seven from distance.
Emily Trushel poured in 18 markers on seven-of-nine shooting, including four-of-five from the three-point stripe.
Jentri Worley posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 assists.
Annalise Malone narrowly missed a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.
Kelsie Woodard tallied nine points while
Hailey Unger registered seven.
In a back-and-forth game, Miller's team trailed 67-63 with just under four minutes to play in regulation. Worley found Woodard for a lay-up at the 3:39 mark, slicing the deficit to just two. A minute later, Woodard was fouled and calmly connected on both charity tosses.
Down by two with less than a minute to go, Worley connected with Malone for an inside shot. After
Madison Williams recorded a steal, Worley was fouled. She buried both free throws for a 71-69 lead with 17 seconds to go. Leading by two, USC Aiken was whistled for a foul with six seconds remaining. After UMO tied the game,
Emily Trushel attempted a jumper. She missed but Malone snagged the rebound. Her put-back attempt missed as the teams went to overtime tied at 71-71.
Delaney Trushel's three-ball put USC Aiken up 80-77 with 1:23 to play in overtime. The home team pulled within one but
Delaney Trushel's free throw made it 83-81 with 17 seconds to go. However, the Trojans hit a shot with six seconds remaining. Worley tried to hit a three-point shot at the buzzer but missed, sending the teams to a second extra period.
UMO took an 87-85 lead early in the second overtime period but Miller's squad pulled within one on a free throw from Malone.
Delaney Trushel's lay-up pulled the home team within two at 90-88 but that was as close as the Pacers would get the rest of the way.
For the game, USC Aiken hit 30-of-63 from the floor, including 12-of-24 from the three-point line. The squad did an outstanding job, dishing out 23 assists on the 30 field goals.
