AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of South Carolina men's basketball standout Anyeuri Castillo has been named to the Peach Belt Conference all-conference team, as announced by the league office Friday.

Castillo, a 6-7 forward from Norcross, Ga., earned second-team accolades.

On the season, he played in 16 games, notching 13 starts. Castillo led the team by averaging 13.3 points per game and was second on the quad with 6.4 rebounds a night. He accounted for a team-high 28 blocks.

Castillo connected on 39.8 percent of his shots from the floor, including 35.2 percent from downtown. His 82.1 percent free throw percentage was also second best on the team.

Castillo poured in a season-high 23 points at Young Harris and snagged a season-best 11 boards against Georgia Southwestern. He tallied a pair of double-double efforts on the season.
