Miller's team limited the visitors to seven-of-35 shooting in the first half, including two-of-16 (12.5 percent) in the first 10 minutes of action.

In the third quarter, KSU got within 11 with 4:50 to go, but Worley canned a pair of free throws. Cochrane buried a jumper before Emily Trushel converted a lay-up. Delaney Trushel's free throws pushed it to a 46-27 margin. The Pacers made it 48-28 after two Worley charity tosses heading into the fourth quarter.

USC Aiken limited KSU to just three points the first six minutes of the final period while scoring 13 points for a 61-31 edge.
