AIKEN, S.C. - The University of South Carolina Aiken baseball team recorded a 7-3 win over Shepherd Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 5-0 on the season.

Kenny Thomas' team jumped on top 2-0 in the second.

Jackson Hannon's double to right field that plated McQuillan.
Eric McGirt's single scored Hannon for a 7-1 advantage.
Shepherd scored two runs in the eighth, but USC Aiken managed to shut the door.
Austin Hohm worked one scoreless frame to pick up the win.
Zach Fordham got the starting nod and went four innings. He struck out five batters and allowed just one earned run.
William Ard threw two frames, recording four strikeouts.
Blake Seigler threw a scoreless ninth inning.
At the plate, Hannon, McGirt, Leisenring, Horacio and Cyr had two hits apiece. Hannon and Leisenring had the two lone extra-base hits in the contest for the victors.
