AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball team lost a 56-46 contest at Augusta Wednesday evening.
The Pacers are now 14-13 on the season and 9-10 in league play.

Mark Miller's team was led by
Kwajelin Farrar's 22-point, 17-rebound, four-block performance.
Chesney Gardner accounted for eight points and seven rebounds. She chipped in a team-high three steals for good measure.
Melyk Taouil netted five points. She pulled down 11 boards and had a game-best four assists.
Rikoya Anderson snagged nine boards in the game.
The Pacers jumped out to a 7-2 lead after
Alex Canady found Farrar in the lane at the 4:49 mark. Anderson's two free throws pushed the score to 9-3.
Tied at 10 entering the second frame, the teams traded baskets and Gardner's bucket made it 15-14 in favor of the visitors. Down 16-15,
Madison Williams found Farrar for a jumper midway through the stanza. Farrar's two free throws pushed the score to 19-16, but the Jaguars took a 26-21 lead into the break.
Trailing 43-31 heading into the fourth quarter, USC Aiken found itself down by 16, but Miller's team continued to battle back.
Kanna Suzuki buried a three-point shot to trim the deficit to 11. Farrar pulled down a board and hit a jumper, making it 49-40. Moments later, Gardner hit two free throws, pulling the team within seven at 51-44. Despite the tough defense down the stretch, USC Aiken could get no closer.
For the game, USC Aiken hit 13-of-19 from the charity stripe (68.4 percent). The visitors held a 49-39 edge on the glass. Miller's squad dished out 10 assists on 16 field goals. USC Aiken netted eight second-chance points in the contest.
The Pacers return to action Saturday when they host Lander in the regular-season finale. Tip-off is slated for 1:30 p.m.
