AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of South Carolina Aiken baseball standout Mitch Spence has been named the PBC Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Spence, a junior from Cary, N.C., was spectacular in the Friday night win over Young Harris. He went seven frames and did not allow a run.

Spence gave up just five singles and walked one while striking out 10 in the 6-0 win.

The Pacers return to action Friday when they square off against No. 6 Columbus State in the PBC Tournament, which is hosted by Flagler.
