INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball team is second in the initial NCAA Southeast Region Rankings, which were released Wednesday afternoon.

Queens (22-3 overall, 21-2 region) tops the standings. USC Aiken is second (22-2). Augusta is third (18-5, 18-4) while UNC Pembroke (18-6) is fourth. Catawba (19-5), Francis Marion (16-5), Lincoln Memorial (17-6), Lenoir-Rhyne (16-8), Emmanuel (18-6, 17-6) and Belmont Abbey (17-6) complete the region rankings.
