Box Score WILSON, N.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's soccer team earned a 3-2 double-overtime victory at Barton Tuesday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 4-8 on the season while the Bulldogs fall to 11-4-1.

Ike Ofoje's team trailed 1-0 after an 11
th-minute goal by the home team. However,
Ricardo Pineda took a pass from
Giuseppe Cimino. Pineda, playing on the right side, rocketed a shot past the keeper, knotting the score at 1-1 in the 18
th minute of action.
The teams remained tied until a 77
th-minute goal by Barton.
USC Aiken, however, would not give up. After a free ball was played into the box,
Austin Boafo corralled it and booted it home to once again knot the score at 2-2.
Neither squad was able to gain an advantage the rest of regulation, forcing overtime. In the first overtime period,
Brendan Gribek was up for the challenge, registering a pair of saves to keep the score the same.
After Ofoje's team earned back-to-back corner kicks, the visitors continued to push forward. At the 105:20 mark,
Chukwudi Apugo scored the golden goal after a breakaway down the center of the pitch. The goal was the fourth of the year for him.
For the match, Boafo led the team with two shots on frame. USC Aiken was outshot 22-16, but it held a 9-8 edge in shots on goal.
Gribek played all 105:20 between the pipes and secured six stops in the win.
