AUGUSTA, Ga. - University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball standout
Ty'lik Evans has been named the PBC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.
Evans, a senior from Macon, Ga., guided the Pacers to a 2-0 week with wins over Flagler and Clayton State.
He averaged 26 points, seven rebounds, 5.5 assists and 5.5 steals per game.
In the win over the Saints, Evans poured in 21 points and tied the USC Aiken school record with eight steals. He accounted for six rebounds and four assists in the game.
In the victory over the Lakers, Evans posted a career-high 31 points while pulling down eight boards. He also dished out seven assists and tallied three thefts. The eight made three-point field goals are the third most in a single game in school history.
For the week, Evans hit 17-of-34 from the floor, including 13-of-23 from the three-point line.
