DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball team dropped a 67-40 contest at No. 23 North Georgia Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 8-6 overall and 4-4 in league play. The Nighthawks are 10-2 overall and 5-1 against conference foes.

Mark Miller's team was paced by
Kwajelin Farrar's team-best 13 points and five rebounds.
Grace Crawford accounted for seven points while
Kyrie' Chandler and
Star Toomey chipped in five markers apiece.
Trailing 19-10 after the first quarter, USC Aiken played virtually even with the Nighthawks in the second frame. USC Aiken fell behind 35-14, but Chandler buried a three-point shot to make it 35-17.
Madison Williams took a pass from Canady and found the bottom of the net on a long-distance basket. Farrar converted an old-fashioned three-point play to pull the visitors within 12 at 35-23. After a bucket by UNG,
Kanna Suzuki hit a jumper in the lane with eight seconds to go in the quarter.
Miller's squad pulled within single digits early in the third period twice – on jumpers from Farrar. However, a run by the Nighthawks made it a 57-30 contest to end the quarter. The Pacers were unable to cut into the lead in the final 10 minutes of action.
For the game, USC Aiken hit 15-of-59 from the floor (25.4 percent). The Pacers registered 13 second-chance points compared to seven by the home team. Miller's squad out-rebounded the Nighthawks 43-36.
