AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken baseball team rolled to an 8-0 victory over Emmanuel in the regular-season finale Sunday.
The Pacers close the regular season with a 33-17 ledger.

Kenny Thomas' team jumped on top with four runs in the first and never looked back.
Jose Bonilla led things off with a single. With two down,
Nile Goings drew a walk. Bonilla and Goings were able to trot home when
Conner Durden crushed the first pitch he saw over the right field wall.
Joey Smithers followed him up with a double and promptly raced home on a
Philip Watcher single for a 4-0 advantage.
USC Aiken went back to work in the second, plating two more runs.
Chandler Rogers singled and moved to second on Bonilla's base knock. A wild pitch pushed both runners up a base. After
Daulton Weeks walked,
Brian Parreira lifted a sacrifice fly to right field for a 5-0 lead. Goings grounded out, but Bonilla crossed home plate on the play for the 6-0 margin.
The Pacers added a run in the sixth and one in the eighth.
Christian Aragon was outstanding on the mound, throwing 5.1 innings. He struck out six and gave up just two hits without allowing a run en route to the victory.

Jordan Brown,
Jamie Morlan,
William Ard and
Freddie Beamon III all saw time on the mound.
Bonilla led the way with three hits. Durden added two base hits and three RBI. Goings also drove in two while Bonilla crossed home twice.
USC Aiken will now play in the PBC Tournament next weekend. The tournament is hosted by Flagler. The PBC will release times and opponents in the near future.
