DUE WEST, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's soccer team posted a 3-0 victory at Erskine Wednesday evening in a non-conference contest.
The Pacers are now 2-2-1 on the season heading into PBC play.

Ike Ofoje's team jumped on top of the home squad just minutes into the match.
After shots by
Andre Simmond and Jorvel Tobierre tallied the first two attempts of the contest,
Samuel Andrews found the back of the net off a pass from
Andre Simmond at the 8:20 mark for what turned out to be the match-winning goal.
The Pacers added to their advantage two minutes later.
Kento Ito blasted a shot toward the frame that was saved, but USC Aiken earned a corner kick.

USC Aiken maintained the 2-0 advantage through the end of the first half and nearly the entire match. However, Ofoje's team continued pushing forward and registered a positive result in the 88
th minute.
On a breakaway,
Roberto Biendicho booted the ball past the keeper with just 2:43 left in the match for the 3-0 score.
For the match, USC Aiken held a 16-7 advantage in shots, including a 10-2 edge in shots on goal. The visitors totaled six corner kicks compared to one by the home team.
Chase Boulton played all 90 minutes between the pipes. He stopped two shots in the shutout.
