COLUMBUS, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball team ended its season with a 62-51 loss at Columbus State Saturday afternoon in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.
The Pacers conclude their season with a 14-14 record while the Cougars improve to 26-1.

Kwajelin Farrar's 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Kate Duff wrapped up her career with 10 markers.
Rachelle Aupont contributed six points and eight rebounds while
Carly Gilreath dished out a team-best five assists.
Aupont's jumper made it a 4-2 lead for the visitors. She canned another basket for a four-point edge, but that was the only time in the game the Pacers would lead.
CSU managed to hold a 15-8 lead at the end of the first period, but Miller's team played virtually even the rest of the way.
Trailing 29-16,
Melyk Taouil hit a jumper in the lane with 2:56 to play in the first half. Two possessions later, Gilreath found Taouil for another three-ball to pull the Pacers within eight at 29-21. After the Cougars pushed the margin to 10, Duff's free throws with 34 seconds to play in the half made it a 31-23 game.
CSU pushed the lead to 17 at the start of the second half, but Farrar and Duff hit back-to-back jumpers. Duff added a pair of free throws to bring USC Aiken within 10 at 44-34. Duff's three-ball with 31 seconds to go in the third stanza made it a 51-44 game – and USC Aiken trailed by only eight heading into the fourth.
The Cougars went on a 7-0 run to start the fourth and Miller's team was unable to cut the deficit to single digits.
For the game, USC Aiken hit 19-of-51 from the floor (37.3 percent), including two-of-10 from the three-point stripe (20 percent). The squad canned 11-of-14 from the foul line.
USC Aiken distributed 14 assists on the 19 field goals, but the difference in the game came via the turnover battle. The Cougars converted 27 turnovers into 21 points while Miller's team converted the home team's miscues into 10 points.
