DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The No. 8 University of South Carolina Aiken women's soccer team played at No. 1 North Georgia in the quarterfinals of the PBC Tournament, dropping a 9-0 contest.
The Pacers conclude their season at 4-13.

Tori Caldwell rocketed the team's first shot of the night toward the frame, but it missed wide at the 8:25 mark. After three saves by USC Aiken's
Karin Cadwalader and the defense, head coach
Hilary George's team attempted its second shot in the 26
th minute of play. However,
Brye Epley's shot narrowly missed wide of the frame.
Cadwalader's superb defense stopped the Nighthawks' offense the remaining of the first period, rendering the contest scoreless going into the second period.
The home squad managed to get on the board quickly in the second stanza. Trailing 1-0 in the 51
st minute,
Sarah Moore blasted a shot that was saved by Hannah Goudy. Moore's attempt two minutes later sailed wide of the target.
UNG extended its lead to 2-0 in the 56
th minute of action. USC Aiken trailed 3-0 before
Gressa Olson found a shot on goal, but it was stopped.
North Georgia managed to tack on six more goals in the final period for the 9-0 win.
For the match, Moore and Epley notched two shots apiece. Caldwell and Olson each posted a shot.
Between the pipes, Cadwalader played all 90 minutes, tallying eight saves while facing 36 shots.
It marked the first time since 2014 that USC Aiken earned a berth in the PBC Tournament.
