Sydney Murphy led off the inning with a single up the middle and moved to second when Samantha Chubb did the exact same thing. Magan Thrower's single to left put runners on every base. A single by Murphy put runners on first and second. However, a ground ball to second base allowed the visitors to tag Murphy and the runner was called out at first base to end the contest.
For the game, Montei, Murphy and Thrower had two hits apiece. Price drove in a pair of runs. Taylor Morgan was solid in the circle, striking out 11 while giving up just three earned runs on seven hits.

With two on, Thrower's groundout allowed a run to come home, making it 3-1 after Montei trotted across the plate.
The Bobcats added three in the third, one in the fourth and one in the fifth.
Snyder's team had two runners on in the fourth and one in the fifth, but the squad was unable to make a dent into the deficit it faced until the seventh.
With two runners on, Kelli Shealy's single allowed Morgan to come home for the final run of the contest.
In the loss, Montei accounted for two hits while Morgan came in to relieve Terrapin and struck out four in the game.
