ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The No. 11 University of South Carolina Aiken golf team is in third place after the second day of competition at the Peach Belt Conference Championship.
Head coach Michael Carlisle's team posted a second-round total of 301 after garnering an opening-day tally of 292. The squad is currently 17-over par with a total score of 593.
The Pacers are 16 strokes back of Columbus State (+1, 577) and eight strokes behind the host Flagler Saints (+9, 585).
Hubert Tisserand leads the way for USC Aiken. He is currently tied for second place with a two-under par, 142. He is tied with two other competitors and stands just a stroke behind TaeHyung Kim of Columbus State for the lead.
Axel Ostensson notched a second-round score of four-over par, 76. He opened the tournament with a three-over par, 75. Ostensson is currently tied for 20th with a 36-hole total of seven-over par, 151.
Johnson Holliday is also tied for 20th at the competition. After garnering an opening-day one-under par, 71, he fired an eight-over par, 80, during the second round of action. Holliday stands at seven-over par, 151, with 18 holes to play.
August Lindvall bested his opening-round score of five-over par, 77. During the second day of play, Lindvall notched a three-over par, 75. He currently sports an eight-over par, 152.
Samuel Schiff notched a five-over par, 77, during the second round of play.
