Butler Earns All-Conference Honor

COLUMBUS, Ga. – University of South Carolina Aiken standout Arbry Butler has been named all-Peach Belt Conference, as announced by the league office.

Butler a 6-8 senior forward from Little Rock, Ark., was a third-team selection.

One of the top passing big-men in the region, Butler averaged 15.3 points and 9.4 rebounds per game as a senior. He also dished out 1.6 assists a contest, but many of his passes led to open baskets.

A force on defense, Butler swatted away three blocks per game on the season. He narrowly missed a triple-double against Clayton State after blocking nine shots in the contest. Butler led the team with 75 blocks for the year.

Offensively, his best game came against the Lakers, where he also contributed a career-high 31 points on 12-of-15 shooting from the floor.

Butler scored in double figures 21 times, including seven times of at least 20 points a game while snagging a career-high 15 boards at Flagler and against Florida Southern.

He tallied 10 double-doubles for the season, which is the third most in a year in USC Aiken history since making the move to Division II. For his career, Butler notched 11 double-doubles, which is good enough for sixth on the all-time list.

He ended his career fourth on the all-time list with 134 blocks and third with 2.90 blocks per game.
