AIKEN, S.C. - The University of South Carolina Aiken women's tennis team netted a 9-0 victory over Augusta University Saturday afternoon in a Peach Belt Conference contest.

The Pacers improve to 8-4 overall, including a 2-3 record against league action.

The Jaguars were shorthanded, but head coach Steve Dahm's team took control in the early going of doubles action.

Nadine Tusiama and Olivera Veskovac teamed up for an 8-0 victory at the top doubles spot.

The tandem of Kayla Calvert and Victoria Giannaccini came from behind to win at the No. 2 slot. Trailing midway through the match, the squad went on a run en route to a 9-7 victory.
