Tusiama's Two Wins
Nadine Tusiama registered a pair of wins against Limestone and was not seriously challenged in either match. She was part of the 8-0 doubles win at No. 1 and pulled off a 6-2, 6-2 victory at the No. 1 slot in singles action.
Shutting Out The Opponent
The No. 1 seeded doubles tandem of Nadine Tusiama and Olivera Veskovac teamed up for an impressive 8-0 showing against the Saints. The two cruised to the win and continued their success in singles action.
Nearly Everyone
In the 8-1 win over Limestone, nearly every single player on head coach Steve Dahms' team picked up a pair of wins. Nadine Tusiama, Olivera Veskovac, Marie Habiyaremye, Sarah Bernos and Kayla Calvert all notched two victories apiece in the 8-1 win.
Calvert's Barely Contested Against The Saints
After cruising to an 8-3 victory at the No. 3 doubles spot with teammate Victoria Giannaccini, sophomore Kayla Calvert held her opponent to just three games in each set in the 6-3, 6-3 victory.
Solid Effort Against Francis Marion
Although USC Aiken lost a 6-3 decision to Francis Marion, the Pacers played the Patriots evenly in singles matches. Nadiene Tusiama, Kayla Calvert and Victoria Giannaccini each won their respective matches.
Last Time Out
The USC Aiken women's tennis team lost a 5-0 decision in the season finale to Flagler in 2015.
Against The Opponent
USC Aiken is 1-5 in the all-time series against Flagler. The Saints have won the last two in the series, which dates back to Feb. 20, 2010.
