DUE WEST, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's tennis team remained undefeated with a 6-3 road win at Erskine Thursday afternoon in a non-conference clash.

The Pacers improve to 2-0 on the season with the victory.

Head coach Steve Dahm's team jumped out to a 2-1 lead after doubles play and never looked back. USC Aiken's top tandem lost by an 8-4 count, but the No. 2 and No. 3 squads pulled out a pair of close matches.

The No. 2 tandem of Sarah Bernos and Marie Aimee Habiyaremye notched an 8-6 victory over their counterparts. The No. 3 team of Victoria Giannaccini and Kayla Calvert won by the same 8-6 score , helping the team go ahead 2-1 heading into singles action.
