This summer, USC Aiken will be highlighting student-athletes for the upcoming 2015-16 year with "What To Watch For." While several student-athletes could make a big impact on their respective teams, the ones being featured may have been under the radar in previous seasons.
Hunter Hubbard saw time in 12 games last year, throwing 16.1 innings. He struck out 20 batters while holding opponents to a mere .172 batting average during his sophomore season.
Coming out of Lakeside H.S., Hunter earned first team all-region and all-county honors while garnering second-team all-area accolades.
"Hunter made tremendous strides during the 2015 season," head coach Kenny Thomas said. "His work habits have become amazing, which has helped him throw harder and with more command. I look for some big things down the road from Hunter, which could bolt him into a much bigger role in 2016."
