AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken baseball team is the No. 5 seed in the upcoming Peach Belt Conference Tournament, which will take place May 9-10 in Columbus, Ga.
Head coach Kenny Thomas' team will take on fourth-seeded Flagler in a game starting at 3 p.m. The Pacers' contest will take place at Golden Park. The winner of the quarterfinal game will play in the PBC semifinals Saturday night at 7 p.m. The winner of that game will play in the PBC Championship on Sunday, May 10 at 1 p.m., at Ragsdale Field.
No. 1 North Georgia and No. 8 Georgia College are on USC Aiken's side of the bracket and they meet at 11 a.m., on Friday.
The Pacers snagged two of the three games against the Saints recently – and both wins came via walk-off fashion as TJ Costen pounded out back-to-back game-winning hits.
