AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's tennis team lost a 5-0 decision to Flagler Monday afternoon in league action.
The Pacers completed the season with a record of 9-12 overall, including a 4-9 mark against conference competition.
Head coach Steve Dahm's team put forth a solid effort, but was unable to garner the win.
In doubles action, top-seeded Sarah Bernos and Oliver Veskovac fell by an 8-2 count. Marie Habiyaremye and Shauna Williams, playing at the No. 2 spot, lost an 8-0 decision while Kayla Calvert and Sabrina Tam fell by an 8-2 count at the No. 3 position.
In singles action, Calvert lost a 6-2, 6-0 match at the No. 4 spot while Tam lost 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 6 slot.
It marked the final career match for Sabrina Tam and Shauna Williams.
