GREENWOOD, S.C. – The No. 2 University of South Carolina Aiken golf team is in second place after the second round of the Peach Belt Conference Championship.
The Pacers are two strokes behind Flagler. Head coach Michael Carlisle's team fired a second-round 286 and is sitting at eight-under par, 568, for the tournament. The Saints are 10-under par through the first two rounds of action. Young Harris (573), Clayton State (580) and Georgia College (581) round out the top five.
Johnson Holliday finished the round with an even-par 72. He is currently tied for third place in the tournament. Holliday has a two-under par, 140, after 36 holes.
Hubert Tisserand shot a second-round two-over par, 74. He opened the tournament with a four-under par, 68. Tisserand has a two-under par, 142, for the event and is currently tied for seventh.
Axel Ostensson continued his solid tournament after shooting an even-par, 72. He is one-under par for the tournament and is tied for 10th.
Brandon Robinson-Thompson opened the championship with a four-over par, 76. However, he fired back with a team-low four-under par, 68, on Saturday. Robinson-Thompson is tied for 15th and is shooting an even-par, 144, for the event.
Andrew Ward shot a second-round three-over par, 75, tying the same mark he hit on Friday. Ward's 150 is good enough to be tied for 37th.
