MISENHEIMER, N.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's tennis team lost a 6-3 decision at Pfeiffer Wednesday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 6-3 on the season while the Falcons stand at 6-1.
Head coach Steve Dahm's team picked up a doubles win at the No. 3 slot. Oliver Veskovac and Marie Habiyaremye notched an 8-4 victory over their opponent.
Veskovac continued her solid play in singles action, registering a win as the No. 4 seed. After falling 6-1 in the first set, she battled back to win 6-3, 10-8 in the final two sets. Habiyaremye also went 2-0 on the day with her 6-4, 6-0 victory at the No. 6 spot.
The Pacers return to action Friday when they play at Lander. The match is slated to start at 2:30 p.m.
