AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South
Carolina Aiken women's basketball team is 10th in
the latest NCAA Regional Rankings, which were released Wednesday
afternoon.
Head coach Mike Brandt's team is 17-10 overall, but sports a
16-9 regional record. The Pacers have won three of their last four
outings heading into Wednesday night's game at GRU
Augusta.
USC Aiken is led by rookie Emry Tsitouris' 11.6 points and
9.0 rebounds a night. Senior Mackenzie Reese is netting 11.1 points
and grabbing 7.5 boards a contest.
Limestone tops the Southeast Regional Rankings with a 26-1 mark.
Columbus State, Anderson, Lander and Wingate round out the top
five. The Bulldogs are followed by Newberry, North Georgia,
Carson-Newman and King, while USC Aiken stands in
10th.
