Box Score INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball team is first in this season's initial NCAA Division II regional rankings, which were released Wednesday afternoon.
The region rankings will determine the Southeast Region bracket in the NCAA Division II Tournament at the end of the season. The conference tournament champions in the Peach Belt Conference, South Atlantic Conference and Conference Carolinas will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament, along with the five highest remaining teams in the Southeast Region rankings.
The Pacers boast a 23-3 in-region and overall record. Five Peach Belt Conference schools are in the current top 10 of the NCAA Southeast Region Rankings.
Wingate is second while Carson-Newman rounds out the top three schools. Flagler, Lander, Armstrong State, Montevallo, Erskine, Limestone and Lenoir-Rhyne complete the top 10.
