After jumping out to a 7-2 lead on a bucket by Reese, the Saints embarked on an 8-0 run and eventually took a 16-11 edge. However, Tsitouris took a pass from Reese for an easy bucket and Brandt connected on a deep three-point shot off a pass from Carly Gilreath, knotting the score with 6:58 to play in the first half.
Trailing 18-16, Brandt hit a jumper, Katelyn Grisillo made a pair of foul shots and Tsitouris sliced the defense for a twisting score with 4:37 to play. Reese and Tsitouris each hit free throws, making it a five-point lead with just 3:30 to go in the opening stanza. Still ahead by five in the waning seconds, Tsitouris was fouled and calmly connected on a pair of foul shots for a 30-23 lead heading into halftime.
Flagler whittled the Pacers' lead to just two with 13:13 to play in the game, but four straight points by Tsitouris pushed the margin back to six at 46-40. Leading 48-44, Reese converted an old-fashioned three-point play prior to Brandt nailing a corner three-point shot for a 10-point advantage.
The Saints managed to pull within seven at the 3:57 mark, but Brandt's team made sure Flagler would not get any closer. Ball hit a pair of free throws before assisting on Reese's fade-away jumper, pushing the lead back to double digits. Johannsen swished a jumper and Brandt converted an easy shot in the paint for a 15-point advantage with just 71 seconds left on the game clock.
