AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of South
Carolina Aiken men's tennis student-athletes Alejandro
Andino, Ettore Damiani and Patrick Stiebinger have all earned
second team all-Peach Belt Conference honors, as announced by the
league office Wednesday.
Andino and Stiebinger garnered the honor in doubles action while
Damiani notched all-conference honors as a singles player.
Damiani, playing in the toughest conference in Division II, posted
a solid 11-8 mark on the season as the No. 1 singles player for
head coach Steve Dahm. Damiani garnered a 5-5 mark against league
foes this season. He also went 4-2 when the match went to three
sets.
Andino and Stiebinger posted nine wins at the top doubles spot for
the Pacers, including three victories against league foes. The
tandem started out the season by winning three of its first four
outings, including two over region competition. It posted victories
over No. 44 Flagler and No. 30 Limestone.
