AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's tennis team routed Limestone Wednesday afternoon by a 9-0 count.
The Pacers improve to 10-4 on the year.
In doubles action, the team cruised to three wins. At the top spot, Margot Simon and Shauna Williams won 8-4 while Nadine Tusiama and Franziska Regel also won by the same margin at the No. 2 slot. Third-seeded tandem Victoria Jasko and Julie Arruda notched an 8-6 win.
In singles action, Tusiama posted a 6-3, 6-3 win at the No. 1 position. Simon tallied a three-set victory, 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 as did Williams at the No. 3 slot, 6-4, 3-6, 6-0.
Jasko won in straight sets 6-1, 6-4, at No. 4. Regel and Arruda won at the No. 5 and No. 6 spots, respectively.
The Pacers return to action Saturday when they host Lander at 1 p.m.
